Rasheen Davis is the owner and stylist at Simplicity Salon
Born and raised in Ohio, Rasheen became a certified stylist in 1998 and relocated to Washington, D.C. in 2006. Rasheen furthered his education by receiving specialized training from Wella, CHI and countless other professional brands. After gaining more than 15 years experience working in high end salons, and styling hair for television, movies, photo-shoots, hair and fashion shows, Rasheen realized one of his dreams when he opened Simplicity Salon in November 2010.

With a passion for all things hair, Rasheen has assembled a professional posse of stylists with over 60 years’ combined experience to give Simplicity’s clientele stylish, healthy hair.  His philosophy for Simplicity Salon is to offer clients premier services including precision cuts, cutting-edge coloring techniques and natural hair care without the fuss.

 

 

LaTonya Jones graduated from Dudley Beauty School in May of 2005
She has been a licensed cosmetologist in the Washington, DC area since July 2005. She has continued her education by taking advanced cutting classes at the renowned Graham Webb Academy, and attending many hair shows around the country.  With over 10 years experience, LaTonya has successfully worked on many photo and video shoots.  

LaTonya believes that healthy hair is a priority. She ensures that her clients are well-educated on the health, integrity, and home maintenance of their hair. Moreover, she is well accomplished in providing different hair styles.  She specializes in natural hair, relaxers, precision cuts, and her eye for color is remarkable.

 

 

 

Pamela Chatman is one of Simplicity Salon’s most sought-after stylists.
Pamela (Pam) is a DC native and veteran stylist who graduated from the National Institute of Cosmetology and became board certified in 1985. Since then, she’s developed quite a following who still remain with her today.

After managing and styling hair at salons in DC for over ten years, Pamela went “on the road” as a union card holding Wig and Hair stylist. In 1995, she first began touring all over the world with two major productions, Miss Saigon and Aida. Her work on Aida earned her the nomination for the esteemed Third Annual Hollywood Makeup Artist and Main Stylists Guild Award for Category of Best Hair Style – Theatrical/Aida. In addition, Pamela toured nationally with short-term productions, Dream Girls, A Christmas Carol and the American Ballet. As a nationally recognized hairstylist, Pam styled hair in films including Paid in Full, Wedding Crashers and for HBO Productions’ The Wire. In 2003, she returned to her beloved DC and began working at Soul Day Spa before coming to Simplicity Salon in 2011.

Pamela places a high value on listening to her clients, creating fierce styles and maintaining healthy hair. She specializes in precision cuts, versatile color, relaxed and natural hair. Pamela regularly attends hair shows to learn about innovative styling techniques and the latest products.
